Appearance:
milky water with tons of suspended and slowly sinking sediment.
Nose:
fizzy carbonated rice – washed rice, rice breads, rice crackers. Cucumber. Rice milk. Bright and fermented.
Palate:
milky and sweet with coconut milk. Sweet rice milk. Very light mouthfeel with a tingle which gives the impression it is still fermenting. Sprite and milk – sounds gross but it was actually good.
Final Thoughts:
a bit simple but makes up for it with bright, straightforward flavors and a playful mouthfeel. A little bit of spring in Korea in a bottle and thusly in my belly. Yum!
