Pours like liquid mahogany and cherry woods with a fluffy khaki head that leaves spots of lace on the sides of my glass as it fades into a thin layer.
Bourbon esters with vanilla, chocolate, and fudge. Heat in the back tickles the nose. Melted caramel and vanilla with fudge ripples and candy apples bobbing up and down. Kahlua. Old woods. Hazelnut and chocolayte liquor.
Cinnamon and nutmeg along the sides. Vanilla, caramel, and candied apples in the middle. Skor bars underneath for creamy chocolate and crunchy toffee. Kahlua and hazelnut liquor truffles. Warms the chest.
Red Brick is always hit or miss with me and their 17th Anniversary was a home-run for this Beer Ambassador. Delicious, decadent, and intense without being overwhelming. A fine example of an American Strong Ale and perfect for sipping on a cold winter’s eve in front of a crackling fireplace.
